Salmonella Enteritidis, Salmonella Typhimurium, and Salmonella Infantis Inactivated Vaccine

Formulation:

Emulsion for injection.

Composition:

Each 0.5 ml dose contains:
• Inactivated bacterin of Salmonella Enteritidis, strain EG-SE2020 ≥ 108 CFU*
• Inactivated bacterin of Salmonella Typhimurium, strain EG-ST2020 ≥ 108 CFU*
• Inactivated bacterin of Salmonella Infantis, strain EG-SI2020 108 CFU*
*CFU: Colony forming unit.

Indication:

Active immunization of chickens from 6 weeks of age to reduce colonization and fecal excretion of Salmonella Enteritidis, Salmonella, Typhimurium, and Salmonella Infantis.
Onset of immunity after second vaccination: 3 weeks
Duration of immunity after second vaccination: 4-6 weeks.

How to Use

Inject by intramuscular or subcutaneous route 0.5 ml/bird after 6ᵗʰ week of age and
revaccinate 0.5 ml/bird after 4-6 weeks

Precautions

• Not to be used within 2 weeks before the onset of the laying period or during the
laying period.
• Shake well before use.
• Apply usual aseptic procedures.
• Do not use syringes with natural rubber or butyl elastomer pistons.
• Equipment including needles and syringes must be sterile before use.
• Don’t mix it with any other veterinary medicinal products.
• Before use, allow the vaccine to reach room temperature (25-28°C).
