Low pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus (LPAIV) – H9N2 subtype and Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) inactivated vaccine.

Formulation:

Emulsion for injection.

Composition:

Each 0.2 ml dose contains:
• Inactivated antigen of low pathogenic avian influenza virus, subtype H9N2 GI like viruses (KSA2/H9.4.1.2 and KSA5/H9.4.1.3) ≥ 7 log2 HI.U1
• Inactivated antigen of Newcastle disease virus, Genotype II (La Sota) and Genotype VII.1.1 (RYD)≥ 50 PD50*
The concentrations are expressed by the antibody titer obtained during the potency test
One unit (U) corresponding to an antibody titer of 1.
1 HI: Hemagglutination Inhibition.
* PD50: Protective dose in 50% of the tested animals

Indication:

Active immunization to reduce clinical signs and mortality of chickens against infection with low pathogenic avian influenza virus (H9N2)and Newcastle disease virus (NDV).
Onset of immunity: 2 – 3 weeks after vaccination.
Duration of immunity: 4- 6 weeks after vaccination.

250 ml and 500 ml

How to Use

•Inject by intramuscular or subcutaneous route 0.2 ml/bird before 3rd week of age
and revaccinate 0.5 ml/bird after 4-6 weeks.

• Zero Days

Precautions

• Not to be used within 2 weeks before the onset of the laying period or during the
laying period.
• Shake well before use.
• Apply usual aseptic procedures.
• Do not use syringes with natural rubber or butyl elastomer pistons.
• Equipment including needles and syringes must be sterile before use
• Don’t mix it with any other veterinary medicinal products.
• Before use, allow the vaccine to reach room temperature (25-28°C).

Storage

• Store and transport at 2 – 8 °C.
• Don’t freeze.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
