Low pathogenic avian influenza (LPA) inactivated vaccine.

Formulation:

Emulsion for injection.

Composition:

Each 0.2 ml dose contains:
Inactivated antigen of LPAIV-H9N2 G1- like viruses ≥ 7 Log₂ HI.U¹
The concentrations are expressed by the antibody titer obtained during the potency test. One unit (U) corresponding to an antibody titer of 1.
¹HI: Hemagglutination Inhibition.

Indication:

Active immunization to reduce clinical signs and mortality of chickens against infection with low pathogenic avian influenza viruses (H9N2).
Onset of immunity: 3ʳᵈ weeks after vaccination.
Duration of immunity: 4-6 weeks after vaccination.

Pack sizes:

250 ml and 500 ml

How to Use

•Inject by intramuscular or subcutaneous route 0.2 ml/bird before 3ʳᵈ week of age
and revaccinate 0.5 ml/bird after 4-6 weeks.

Precautions

• Not to be used within 2 weeks before the onset of the laying period or during the
laying period.
• Shake well before use.
• Apply usual aseptic procedures.
• Do not use syringes with natural rubber or butyl elastomer pistons.
• Equipment including needles and syringes must be sterile before use.
• Don’t mix it with any other veterinary medicinal products.
• Before use, allow the vaccine to reach room temperature (25-28°C).

Storage

• Store and transport at a temperature 2-8 °C and avoid freezing.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
