Infectious Bronchitis Virus (IBV) Inactivated Vaccine

Formulation:

Emulsion for injection.

Composition:

Each 0.5 ml dose contains:
• Inactivated antigen of IBV – M41 (GI-1) ≥ 6 log2 VN¹ units
• Inactivated antigen of IBV – VAR¹ (GI-13) ≥ 4 log2 VN¹ units
• Inactivated antigen of IBV – Q1 (GI-16) ≥ 4 log2 VN¹ units
• Inactivated antigen of IBV – VAR 2 (GI-23) ≥ 4 log2 VN¹ units
The concentrations are expressed by the antibody titer obtained during the potency test.
One unit (U) corresponding to an antibody titer of 1.
¹VN: Virus neutralization.

Indication:

Booster immunization of breeder and layer chickens for reduction and prevention of eggs drop caused by infectious bronchitis virus (IBV).
Onset of immunity: 3ʳᵈ weeks after vaccination.
Duration of immunity: one laying period.

Pack sizes:

250 ml and 500 ml

How to Use

Inject by intramuscular or subcutaneous route 0.5 ml/bird after 8ᵗʰ week of age and
revaccinate 0.5 ml/bird after 4-6 weeks

• Zero Days

Precautions

• Not to be used within 2 weeks before the onset of the laying period or during the
laying period.
• Shake well before use.
• Apply usual aseptic procedures.
• Do not use syringes with natural rubber or butyl elastomer pistons.
• Equipment including needles and syringes must be sterile before use.
• Don’t mix it with any other veterinary medicinal products.
• Before use, allow the vaccine to reach room temperature (25-28°C).

• Store and transport at a temperature 2-8 °C
